Lola's on the Lake (Promo - 2017)
Lola's on the Lake is a wonderful restaurant in Elkhart Lake, WI and part of the Osthoff Resort. Joselyn filmed interviews and b-roll there, then edited this promo video for them & mixed/edited the sound. She also created the title/lower third design to fit with their marketing! Julia did the colour grading to really make that delectable food stand out.
​After this video was posted on their facebook page, it received lots of great feedback, engagement, and traffic. Other videos Joselyn has completed for The Osthoff include Apira The Spa and Three Sheeps Bier Dinner.
Sleepy Hollow Book Trailer (Short - 2015)
As part of our entry into the Monsters & Mysteries Summer Reading Challenge we created a book trailer on "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow".
Joselyn looked after the animations in After Effects & sound design in ProTools. Julia worked on the images in Photoshop & the music selection using the Youtube Audio Library and a piece by Kevin McLeod. All images were sourced from the public domain using pixabay and Sleepy Hollow was narrated by Chip at LibriVox.
This was a great opportunity to showcase the work we could do with nothing but our computers & software, Joselyn's sound library, and a whole bunch of public domain content!
Paradise, FL (Feature Film - 2015)
Produced by House of John Productions in association with Media & Management Global and Triforce Pictures, Paradise FL is "inspired by true events. A struggling oyster fisherman helps care for his friend's two young kids and finds himself fighting for the family he didn't know that he needed."
Joselyn was Sound Designer and Mixer on the independent feature and Julia was Colourist.
The film premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival in April and was their most-screened feature! More recently the film played at the Skyway Film Festival in June.
